BUTEL ARC XT PRO FULL

This was before RR import so I it was nice not having to recreate my files. A big advantage for me with Butel was being able to import my files from earlier programs like ARC250/296 to newer Butel programs as newer scanners were developed.

I haven't use PROSCAN so I cannot provide a comparison, but for me ARCXT has been a real bargain when you average out the cost over 13 years with free upgrades. I've been using ARCXT PRO since 2009 for my 396XT, 996XT and now also for my BCD325P2.

One tip is at anytime you want it to communicate with the scanner be sure to select 'Com port setup' and select 'Start Auto'.ĪRC XT I use it for a 996P2 that has dmr, its also less $ at least for the basic version! If a person gets the basic, but then wants the pro version its not $30 more, its the full pro price. then absolutely it's all you need honestly. I've used freescan for 10+ years, if you don't need the dmr,provoice,nxdn.

I also to be prudent at the 'queue system list' for which systems to import into freescan, would be to uncheck the DMR ones. You wont hear any DMR talkgroups till you change the numbers back through the scanner keypad. I recall experimenting before I acquired arc xt. Single site(one frequency) I recall would be okay if I remember, but any talkgroups will turn to zero. 'If you imported' Assuming you're saying ->įorm your scanner that has DMR into freescan, then uploaded to your scanner, if you happened to have overwrite or erase option checked.
